How do I follow up meeting employers at events?

If employers have given you their contact details at career fairs, it is recommended that you follow these up soon afterwards. Be proactive, thank them for their time, remind them who you are and why you are contacting them e.g. have they asked you to send a CV? Do ask them a follow up question and see where the conversation goes from there.

If you meet an employer at one of our fairs, check our events website and see if there is an opportunity to meet them again at one of the presentations, workshops or fairs that we organise.
