Enterprise training

Business/Enterprise Training. There are a number of ways to maximise you enterprising potential as well as improve you business/enterprise skills:

Advanced Career Development, Business Awareness

This level 3 elective module will give you the opportunity to practise, and develop a solid understanding of, the skills and concepts that will ultimately allow you to demonstrate your commercial awareness to graduate recruiters in a range of sectors. You will also learn how these same principles apply to turning an idea into a business and running your own venture.

Students In Free Enterprise (SIFE)

Student-led teams who come up with ideas for sustainable projects, which create economic opportunity in the Leeds community.  This can help you develop your entrepreneurial skills in preparation for your future.

Enterprise Society

A society set up by students for students to help enterprising students develop and achieve their ambitions.  Regular meeting and events.

Enterprise Boot camp

A fantastic 4 day residential course, which is run annually.  The Boot Camp will  help you learn about the practical aspects of starting a business.  Find out more about finance, marketing, business planning and sales.  A great benefit to you is the one-to-one advice from professional advisers. Networking events

Please check our news and events for up to date information/details of any networking events either in Leeds, regionally or nationally. The Leeds Enterprise Network and The Leeds Chamber of Commerce run networking events on a regular basis as well as Forward Ladies and Make your Mark. Centre for Enterprise and Entrepreneurship Studies

The centre for Enterprise and Entrepreneurship Studies (CEES) is the focal point for enterprise on campus. They offer a range of interesting and stimulating modules at undergraduate and postgraduate levels including: financial planning, social enterprise, networking and leadership.
