PACE: Public Affairs and Community Engagement Panels

The Main Event

PACE: Public Affairs and Community Engagement Panels event

The 2017 PACE: Public Affairs and Community Engagement Panels event offers you the opportunity to discuss your area of work as part of a sector specific topic as well as advertising any graduate opportunities you may have to attending students.

A series of 4 sector specific panels throughout the afternoon, made up of 4-5 panel speakers from different organisations relating to that sector.  Each person will give an informative, short talk/presentation and upon completion there will be a Q&A session.

The event is aimed at students who are looking to make a difference with their career and aims to give them in depth information on the different career paths you can take to end up working within a paid role in each sector.  Last year saw around 30 and 50 students at each separate panel - it was well received being the first time the event took this format.

Each panel will last for roughly 1 hour 20 minutes, giving plenty of time for talks together with Q&A’s at the end. There will be an adjacent room then available for networking with the students over tea and coffee.  There is no restriction in terms of time for this.
