A 2:2 degree can still get you on a great grad scheme

It is a popular misconception that unless you have a 2:1 degree or higher and a haul of UCAS points no graduate scheme will touch you.
It is not true! In fact over 25% of graduate scheme providers ask for a 2:2 or better including some major organisations like John Lewis, Sky, The Civil Service and the NHS.
However, that does not mean that you will not be competing against applicants with better degrees so it is important that you learn how to stand out.
Many of these recruiters use a points based system that takes into account a variety of things including employment and extra-curricular activities.
You need to plan ahead, gain experience and improve your skills to make sure if you miss your target grade you dont also miss your dream graduate job.
