Graduate jobs forecast to rise by 8%
Published: Wednesday, 29 May 2013
The latest research by the Incomes Data Service suggests that graduate recruitment, in the UK, will rise by 8% in 2013.
This is a big step increase from a revised growth rate of only 0.1% for 2012.
The biggest rises are expected to be in the retail sector with an expected increase of 30%. The service sector is expected to grow by 15.7% and even the public sector is seeing increases of around 5%.
This news however is tempered by research suggesting that graduate pay is set for a further period of little or no growth.
