Careers Events- an introduction

Did you know that the University of Leeds is targeted by many employers wishing to recruit graduates? Last year, we hosted around 650 employer campus visits and 13,000 students took part in the Careers Centre’s varied and successful programme of events.

But how will it help YOU?

Well...

• You can network with employers at presentations and receive top tips; gain an insight into graduate jobs and explore work experience opportunities from a wide range of organisations and be one step ahead of your competitors.
• Attending employer-led workshops on topics such as applications, psychometric tests or interview skills can really give you practical advice to improve your chances of success.
• There is something for everyone – multinational, national, regional and smaller organisations, law firms, local businesses, public and private sector employers, not for profit companies and opportunities abroad.

Students and graduates of the University of Leeds are welcome – from any year and any degree discipline, full-time or part-time, unless otherwise stated.

It is much harder to make these types of contacts with employers after you graduate. Don’t miss out – take the chance whilst it is on offer!
