Seeking work in a different country can be challenging, but there are plenty of resources available. We have highlighted some useful starting points below.

Global resources

Our vacancy database - As well as opportunities in the UK, we also advertise opportunities further afield. Use the advanced search function to specify location.

Goinglobal - As well as advertising job and internship opportunities around the world, Goinglobal provides useful country guides (as well as USA and Canada city guides) covering everything from job-search resources, job-market information, application tips and information on work permits and visas.

GetHighered - Offers you access to thousands of opportunities, internships and jobs overseas. You can also attend many events, browse through country guides and even access a dedicated 'jobs in China' portal. 

GradConnection - for graduate jobs and internships in China, Hong Kong and Singapore. 

TARGETjobs: Working Abroad - Options for finding jobs and internships abroad. For each country there is information on language requirements, major industries, shortage occupations, recent growth areas and job hunting tips.

Prospects Country Profiles - Include information on the job market, immigration, vacancy sources, application advice and much more.

The Riley Guide - Directory of job and career resources for countries all over the world.

AGCAS 'Starting your career in....' series - aimed at returning international students who have studied in the UK. These contain lots of useful information on the economy, routes to employment and vacancy sources which would be equally useful for any graduate considering a career in a particular country.

EURES - From the EC, has lots of information, advice and job listings for countries throughout Europe. It also has a section aimed specifically at graduates.

Graduate jobs in Europe - Targetjobs lists top graduate employers by country (as voted by students) as well as providing an overview of the jobs market by country.

ERASMUS - Work placement programme enabling you to complete a work placement in another European country.

Tyba - Find opportunities with start ups all over Europe. You can create a profile and search by city to find out which companies are currently hiring staff. 

Graduateland - International job portal which allows you to search for jobs from selected areas of a country. You can also create a profile using your social media networks to allow companies to find you.
