  • Interview and Assessment Centre Technique - Learn how to stand out at this stage of the recruitment process, and to adapt to the video interviews and assessment centres that will become more common in the current climate.
  • Mock Assessment Centre - A recording of a mock assessment centre that was run by James Farley, CEO of Transform Society (Teach First, Police Now) it features information about excelling at assessment centres and information about how they'll be run digitally. Some of the time during the webinar was given over for participants to do the activities - you can skip through those sections. 
  • Strategies for Overcoming Interview Nerves  - Interviews can be a scary prospect but with ample preparation and a few helpful tips they can be a lot less daunting. Find out how to overcome those nerves by watching this session, delivered by a former graduate recruiter.

Starting to look for vacancies, but not sure how to go about it? We've got loads of info on that!

  • Getting job sites to do the work for you - Navigating vacancy sites can be a challenge and lead to frustration, with hundreds of different vacancies appearing and being emailed to you. This guide shows you how to use job sites like MyCareer smartly, and to get them to do the work for you. 
  • A Student's Story of Securing a Graduate Job During Lockdown - A recorded Q&A session with a fresh graduate member of the Class of 2020 who's secured a graduate job during lockdown. She talks about her experience of a process mainly undertaken online and offers hints and tips about the process. 
  • Leeds Exclusive Opportunities - Being able to stand out when looking for jobs can be difficult. This blog post details some of the exclusive opportunities open solely to Leeds students, which is a great way to do this.
  • Debut: Graduate Employers still hiring - COVID-19 has had an impact on the economy, and the number of employers hiring as a result. Debut have put together a confirmed list of graduate employers who have confirmed they’re still hiring, which could help to reassure you and give you some inspiration on where to look for roles.
