Masters Study Information Event

Date: 06 December 2021
Time: 12:30

Booking and Further Information

Are you thinking about studying a Master's degree once you've finished with your degree? Are you worried it might be too much for you? Feel like you don’t know your MA from your MRes?

This event should help you find out more about what it is like studying at Masters level and to demystify the process. You'll hear from academics about the step up from undergraduate to postgraduate and have a chance to learn more from current Masters students about their experiences and advice. You’ll also get the lowdown on how to fund a Masters.

There'll be a chance for you to ask any questions you might have about PG study so that you can go away with a stronger idea of whether it might be for you!

It is extremely common for students under-represented at any level of education to struggle with a sense of belonging. All of our speakers have experienced this and will be able to address this in their talks and in answering your questions – this event is a safe space for any student to air any concerns and ask any questions they might have about doctoral study.

This event will be held on Microsoft Teams. You will be sent a link to join the meeting on the day of the event.

We want this event to be accessible. Please get in contact if you need any adjustments made or if you have any questions: theplusprogramme@leeds.ac.uk
