Coffee and Careers: Careers in Engineering and IT

Join an EPS Careers Consultant for a virtual 'coffee and a chat' over MS Teams. Join this session to ask any questions you have about Careers in Engineering and IT  


EPS Students and Graduates - we are Claire and Jade, Careers Consultants for EPS. We work closely with the schools and students in the faculty, and also with employers who are keen to recruit our students. We're here to help answer your industry specific questions and share useful industry related tips and advice. 

We are running virtual 'Coffee and Careers' sessions throughout semester one, based around securing roles in different industries. The webinars will be very informal and friendly, taking place over MS Teams. Prepare a career related question or a topic and we can't wait connect with you and support you during your exciting career journey.

  • On the morning of the session, you will be sent a link to join the MS Team meeting.
  • Please join with video and audio (if possible).

Media Futures- Eurovision, Millionaire, & The Circle : an insider’s tale.

Get the inside story on some of TV's biggest moments in 2020. 

Within 3 years Joe Mason went from working as a BBC researcher, producing YouTube vlogs about the Eurovision Song Contest as a hobby, to becoming @Eurovision’s lead digital producer overseeing the official output on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook for audiences across the world.

As well as working on Eurovision's alternative programming, this year saw him work on a range of historic TV moments including Who Wants To Be A Millionaire's first winner in 14 years, A Question of Sport's final episode with Sue Barker, Matt Dawson and Phil Tufnell, the third series of The Circle and and Channel 4's brand new adventure-reality commission, The Bridge.
