Are you a PGR who is considering working for the Civil Service or would just like to explore this option a little further?  If so, two Leeds alumni who did their PhDs at the University of Leeds will be talking about their experiences of working for the Civil Service, its pros and cons and how they have utilised their PhDs both in the application process and once in role.

The alumni concerned are Dr Daisy Payne who is a Senior Social Researcher at the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, and Dr Ashley Overton-Bullard who is a research professional working for the Department for Work and Pensions.

Daisy and Ashley will give a short overview of their experiences for approximately 20 minutes after which the rest of the time will be thrown open to a Q&A session for the audience.

This event will take place via Teams on Thursday 9th December from 3-4 pm the link to which can be found here.
